If you've found your way here, it's likely because we share a common passion:

I am deeply committed to advancing sustainable development in emerging economies by applying rigorous analysis and data-driven strategies. My work focuses on tackling complex fiscal challenges and guiding the implementation of innovative solutions that promote long-term resilience and inclusive growth. As an economist, I’ve dedicated my career to shaping macroeconomic policies and ensuring fiscal sustainability, while addressing the unique needs of emerging economies through cutting-edge research and technology. My focus remains on delivering impactful solutions that drive meaningful, lasting progress.

Since 2019, I have led the development of a technological platform that provides advanced forecasting models, calibration of fiscal rules, and early warning systems. It is called FISLAC, and today it is a tool used by governments and policymakers to strengthen macro-fiscal policies.

Behind FISLAC, I lead an interdisciplinary team committed to promoting fiscal sustainability across the region.

I have witnessed firsthand how research and analysis can go beyond papers and evolve into practical tools for strengthening institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean.

For years, I have focused on fiscal policy and public debt in emerging economies, driven by a desire to not only share my knowledge, but to make a real impact.

Publishing short articles has given me the chance to share the key findings and highlights of my research in a very effective and accessible way.
